Another Day At Leighs!

At Leigh’s Nurseries we take complete pride in our interactions with the children. Within every play opportunity that we provide for the children we support them with their social skills, following the child’s interests and creating games/activities around these interests.

In addition to this, by having stimulating conversations with the children we are showing them that we’re interested, not matter how in depth or brief the conversation might be. Every child is unique and has different qualities so it’s important for us as practitioners to notice the needs of each individual child to help and support them to the best of our ability. Having periods of the day where we have smaller group time can allow many children to feel more involved and build on their confidence, allowing them to interact more with their peers as well as practitioners.
