Baking Breadhogs!

Baking activities are always a favourite with the children! We’ve been tapping into our Autumn theme and the children have been displaying huge interest in hedgehogs, coming up with the idea of baking breadhogs!

We followed a recipe and instructions to make the bread mix, taking turns and helping each other count and measure ingredients. We then moulded our dough into hedgehog shapes and created spikes using scissors. Lastly we used raisins for eyes and popped them into the oven. The children were so pleased and happy with their finished breadhogs, they tasted as good as they looked too!
