Bubble Fun!

The children had been asking about bubbles and how they’re made so we decided to create our own bubble experiment. We gathered all the ingredients together and the children took turns in adding different resources into our experiment. The children were very eager to make their own bubble potion and mix different colours into this.

Once our ingredients were mixed together, we asked if they had any ideas on how to create the bubbles. Some children wanted to use the bubble wands and some children had the idea to use their hands. With trial and error the children were able to blow some bubbles through their hands and were very excited by this.

As a group we looked around nursery to see what other materials we could use and cut up cardboard tubes to try.  This experiment got everyone talking about the impact of adding different materials together as well as what other experiments we could try.
