Bug Hunt!

Following on from our love for butterflies the children were so excited to go on their very own bug hunt! We talked about where bugs live and what they eat. The children had fantastic knowledge of different kinds of insects!

They were amazed when we found 2 spiders! We counted their legs and were fascinated looking at their beautiful individual webs. We talked about how to care for our insects and the children knew to be very gentle!

We followed this on with the Sunflowers and Snapdragons by taking part in putting the correct number of legs on our spider drawings, we counted from 1 to 8 with ease which was just brilliant!
