Colour Experimentation!

The children recently took part in a science experiment investigating what happens when we mix together paint, water and vinegar.

The sunflowers and snapdragons enjoyed exploring the different colours and textures using their fine motor skills to spray the vinegar at the ice cubes which then created a foam from the coloured ice cubes in the tray.

We talked about the process and how the colours were mixing together as the ice melted. We also discussed how the ice cubes felt in our hands! The children loved identifying their colours throughout and creating new ones!
