Earth Day Fun!

We loved celebrating Earth Day last week here at Leighs! Together we talked about how we can keep our Earth clean and look after our environment.

The children loved exploring our tuff tray and helping clean up our beach. They talked about the rubbish that they could see and the importance of cleaning it up for the environment and to look after the animals. They used their fine motor skills to pick up the rubbish with the tweezers and spoons.

The children also enjoyed digging in the Earth to see what they could find! They talked about how worms and bugs live in the mud and enjoy exploring.
