Exploring Colours!

In Sweetpeas we have been really interested in exploring colours. We enjoyed doing a colour sorting activity to help learn our favourites, as well as experiencing lots of sensory resources related to them.

The younger Sweetpeas enjoyed feeling the texture of the bubble wrap and were very vocal, making lots of new sounds. The older Sweetpeas enjoyed independently matching each colour to the circle with little support which was amazing to watch. We then extended this activity during circle time as we talked about our colour of the week and the children loved having a hunt for some resources.
