Exploring Our Planet!

Happy Tuesday everyone! This week we’ve been exploring our beautiful planet and learning all about recycling and how we can help save the animals.

We learned lots of interesting facts from one another throughout a brilliant social discussion. It’s amazing to hear our children’s thoughts and ideas on such a big and important topic! The children were highly engrossed and loved exploring the different textures. They enjoyed playing with the animals while also learning through play which encourages social, physical and emotional skills.

One of our fantastic Sunflowers explained how “we live on a planet called earth with different gases which make the sun hot and make heat”. The children got so much out of expressing their feelings on climate change and particularly loved talking about how trees provide people with the oxygen to help them breathe. We were all extremely impressed overall by their knowledge and enthusiasm.
