First Aid Training!

In recent weeks our staff have been carrying out first-aid training. Every single staff member at Leigh’s is fully trained in Paediatrics first aid and the training gives everyone the important skill set and confidence needed when it comes to maintaining safety in an early years setting. The course takes everyone through a wide range of practices enabling staff to deal with accidents such as burns, choking, bumps, seizures and CPR. We also like to bring elements of our training through into children’s play by role playing with bandages and fancy dress as well as talking about what to do in an emergency.
