Flower Making!

At Leigh’s we provide an ever changing environment and engage in enriching activities to support the children’s next steps.  We use their current interest to enable us to create activities that help them reach goals and milestones. The snapdragons are currently interested in the outdoors and flowers and enjoy looking at the beautiful garden and discussing what they can see.

We are currently working on identifying shapes and colours so we used this interest to engage them in a flower making activity. They explored different petal shapes and used different coloured papers to create their own works of art, while we talked about how our own flowers looked like the ones we found in the garden!
