Hadrian’s Wall!

The children enjoyed exploring our village and the history behind it. They enjoyed a trip to Hadrian’s Wall where we spoke about the historical significance of the wall. We decided that once we got back to nursery we were going to build our own wall with lots of different materials which the children were all very excited about.

They were also very inquisitive and loved looking at the sign about the Romans.

On our walk we experimented by creating our own nature rubbings that we brought back to show our peers. The children enjoyed telling their sunflower friends about what they had learned and even showed them how to do nature rubbings in nursery!
