Healthy Body Happy Me!

Here at Leighs we’re always promoting how a healthy body means a happy me! It is so important to take time to focus on children’s mental health and for them to have time to reflect on themselves. The children have massively enjoyed expressing themselves through paint and music.

The calming music ignites all areas of child development and skills and it helps the body and mind work together. Playing background music reduces stress and anxiety and using music and movement together improves children’s memory brilliantly.

The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were not easily distracted. They extended this activity themselves by mixing the colours and using different materials to paint with.
