How We Create A Safe And Stimulating Learning Environment 

Here at Leigh’s we strive to provide a warm, calm and welcoming home from home environment where every room mirrors each other making transition more seamless. All rooms are open plan, enriched with stimulation and age appropriate activities. All resources are located in and on low level units to allow for the children to access them and to take lead within their own learning, giving them the independence and confidence to make their own choices. Providing children sized resources means they learn early life skills while testing out new ways of doing everyday tasks.

Children are able to participate in new stimulation, adult and child lead activities providing and encouraging them to asks questions, explore, and develop new language and experiment with new ideas. They enjoy testing out a wide range of new skills, having the support from our outstanding team to guide them through their learning journey.

From the moment your child’s journey starts at Leigh’s you will find the rooms are calm with lots of natural light and fairy lights. Calming music is used to ensure a relaxed environment. We also providing a large open indoor and outdoor space giving the children a safe area to develop, allowing for a variety new experiences.
