Kindness at Christmas!

During the Christmas period it is so important to keep on spreading Christmas cheer and not forget the true meaning of Christmas!

This week we have decided to talk about kindness and helping others. The children listened to a festive kindness poem and added in their own thoughts about it. It was amazing to hear such beautiful thoughts come from them. The children have learned that Christmas is not just about receiving but also about giving – whether it’s a hug, a smile or even a handmade card! The children have exceeded in their social skills and have shown one another such love throughout the nursery which has been brilliant to witness!

Our fantastic team of staff have also decided to write lovely things for one another in the spirit of kindness at Christmas! We are also helping a local food bank by asking our fantastic families to give a small donation of food if possible – anything you can give would be so appreciated.

We have the happiest nursery this Christmas and will continue to spread kindness throughout 2022!
