Learning About The Sun!

Recently we’ve been learning about the sun and the important things we need to remember for going out in this lovely weather. We used Doug the dog to get sun ready!

We set out a range of summer clothes, sun hats and objects such as water and suncream. The sweetpeas picked the different items to place onto the dog and we explained throughout why it was important to have these things when it’s sunny! The children showed a good understanding throughout and enjoyed getting the dog ready, praising themselves whilst doing so. Well done Sweetpeas!
