Leighs Gardening Club!

In our gardening club recently we’ve been loving to grow our own mint! The children enjoyed investigating the smell of the mint and using their fine motor skills to pick the herbs. They used the knives to carefully chop the mint into small pieces, promoting their independence.

Val then added this to our yummy dinner for the children to try – the children showed pride in knowing that this was homegrown and they played a part in what they were eating!
