Leigh’s Staff Feedback #4

Kate (Deputy Manager): I started at Leighs 15 years ago when I was just 16! I started as an apprentice at our Heddon Nursery and have worked my way up to now Deputy Manager at our largest nursery in Newcastle.  Leigh and Paul have always been there to support me and help me grow in my role… they saw my potential and encouraged me to keep moving forward and push my self out of my comfort zone. I’ve spent my whole adult life working at Leighs and Leigh and Paul along with Jade (our amazing senior manager) supported me though every life event, both my best and worst times. I’ve always been able to speak to them at any time day or night, they are (along with all the amazing girls I work with) truly like my second family. It’s no surprise every single nursery is OUTSTANDING as they put their whole hearts into everything they do. My daughter now attends the nursery and she absolutely loves it. It’s a home away from home for us both!

Megan (Apprentice Nursery Nurse): I have been with Leigh’s for 10 months as an Apprentice and I have felt fully supported by all the staff with any problems I have had. The staff have been great help and given good advice especially with any work I have had trouble with or been worried or stressed over. I am thankful for time off for family reasons and working with a team I feel comfortable with and give me help when needed.

Laura (Manager): I have worked for Leigh’s Nurseries for 14 years and I have loved every second of it. I started off as a Nursery Nurse, straight out of university and worked my way up to Manager. I would not have been able to achieve this without the support and guidance from all of the Leighs nurseries team, especially Leigh and Paul. During my time at Leighs I have been apart of some amazing experiences, the best ones were all of our OUTSTANDING Ofsted inspections across all 3 settings.
I am so lucky to be able to say I look forward to going to work everyday and even though I have had ups, downs and some challenges along the way, I really do have the most rewarding, fun, amazing and OUTSTANDING job and I wouldn’t change it for the world. This is mainly due to the amazing and passionate team I work with everyday. I am proud to say I work for this amazing company!
