Making Numbers Fun!

We’ve been busy exploring numbers! One activity that the children have been engaged in is the dot to dot number clock. This is fun, fast and really simple to set up making it perfect if you’re looking for a little bit more at home inspiration! It’s highly beneficial for the children’s development as it improves their fine motor skills by learning how to grip a pen or pencil.

There are a huge variety of activities available that revolve around numbers. If any parents are struggling for ideas we’re more than happy to help! Time has been a really big focus for us in recent weeks because of how important it is in daily life. Here at Leigh’s we help children learn about the time by incorporating it into their usual play due to it being something they massively enjoy and understand. We think it’s really important to make numbers fun as it creates a positive starting point for children to develop their mathematical knowledge and skill set!
