Nursery Rhyme Fun!

We’ve been having so much fun listening to nursery rhymes here at Leighs. It’s been brilliant seeing the children using their imaginations to come up with their own songs and stories. We’ve been working together to come up with a nursery rhyme all about superheroes and the children got so excited as they came up with lots of different verses.

We grasp every opportunity possible to really maximise on the children using their beautiful imaginations as it helps them gain a better understanding of the world they live in while also building their social skills and self confidence. What better way to do this than through music! After learning our new nursery rhyme the children then started talking about what their superheroes would wear, so we decided to create our own superhero outfit! We all discussed what superpowers our Leighs Nurseries superhero would have which was so much fun!
