Newcastle Nursery

My daughter has been in Leigh's Nursery for four weeks now. As this was the first time I had left her with anyone aside from close family I found it very daunting. However the staff could not have been more supportive and understanding of how I was feeling. My daughter has settled in so well and really enjoys her time in nursery. I definitely made the right choice.

Our son Jack has grown in confidence since attending Leighs Nursery. They have encouraged him to develop his social confidence and independence. In addition Jacks number and recall skills are excellent which he has developed at the nursery. The nursery atmosphere is welcoming and professional which makes you feel secure when leaving your most precious thing in the world. I would not hesitate to recommend Leighs Nurseries.

We've used Leigh's Nurseries for coming up to two years and we couldn't be happier with it. The staff are all amazing with the children, so caring and taking a real interest in each child to find out their likes, dislikes and routines. When I moved jobs we looked at other nurseries closer to home, but nothing could beat Leigh's they just didn't have the same feel about them. So we kept our eldest with Leigh's and when it came to choosing a nursery for our youngest it was an easy decision. It may take me a little longer each morning to drop the kids at nursery and get to work, but seeing how much they both love the nursery makes it all worth it.

I love Leigh's Nursery and am so glad we chose it. My son is incredibly happy there and is growing into a very sociable and happy little boy. Staff are knowledgeable, caring and have gone out of their way to accommodate special requests or last minute bookings when we've needed them. I also really like that there's always something fun going on, from Easter egg competitions, Christmas parties to yoga and French and even meeting Peppa Pig. I can't recommend Leigh's enough!

Leigh's Nursery is a fantastic place that provides high standards of care and love to my daughter who has thrived from the moment she started. The whole set up is beautiful which I think helps take away the 'scary' feeling that comes with sending your child to nursery. My daughter loves all the staff and I feel more than comfortable when she is there knowing she enjoys her time and is constantly learning new things. Thank you so much for all your kindness and love/care towards her and all the other children!

Leigh's Nursery has been a godsend for us. The staff are phenomenal and have helped us no end. Our son had a difficult start to life and nursery has totally transformed him. The love, comfort, care and warmth the staff have shown has helped him to grow into a happy, kind, caring and loving little boy. He's come on so much since he first started a year ago and it's beautiful seeing him so content. We will always be grateful to Leigh's Nursery for everything they have done for our son and for us as a family.

Our son Shay started nursery when he was 8 months old and as our first child we only wanted the best for him. From the first visit we knew that Leigh's Nurseries was a safe, friendly and fun place for Shay to be. Every morning when we arrive Shay smiles from ear to ear and runs ahead as he cannot wait to start his day at nursery. The staff are amazing and know all the children so well. We would highly recommend Leigh's Nurseries.

My daughter is always happy and babbling away when I collect her from Leigh's Nursery! Every staff member knows her name and the communication between staff and parents is excellent. We are really glad we chose Leigh's Nursery for our child.

Finn absolutely loves his new nursery and we cannot be anymore grateful - it has changed our lives (really!) To be able to drop Finn off in such a friendly, kind, and loving environment makes us (and him) so happy. You are all AMAZING!!

We are very impressed with Leigh's Nursery. Our son Jacob has developed so much since starting just over a year ago. It's amazing to see him so happy when we pick him up and to see photos of him smiling and having fun when we're not around.

As an overly anxious Mum I felt nothing but relief and reassurance when I walked through the door of Leigh's Nursery. I felt instantly at home and I knew straight away that my baby would be well looked after. The staff are all kind and caring, and go above and beyond to help with my child's development. We have no regrets about choosing Leigh's Montessori Nursery for our daughter. The staff are very attentive to every child's needs and they take pleasure and pride in seeing them develop. Gloria looks forward to going to nursery and never wants to leave! We're really impressed that the selection of toys is continually refreshed , providing the children with lots of new things to discover. Thanks so much to all the team for your hard work!

The nursery nurses always give me lovely feedback on William which means a lot. I can tell from what they say that they have spent time interacting with him. They really do love all the children and have a real passion for childcare.

A am delighted with the high quality of care that Logan receives. Regular parents evenings and the daily diary provide me with constant feedback on his progress.

Wonderful nursery with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Feels very welcoming and homely. Our son loves it and has come on in leaps and bounds during his time at Leighs. Totally recommend it!

Leigh's Montessori has been absolutely wonderful for my son. He has grown into a happy, creative and confident 4 year old which I feel is due to not only the fantastic nurture he has received but the development of his motor skills, his ability to explore his environment and the encouragement to question. Above all he knows how to be kind, and he feels secure and happy. As a parent I have always felt supported by the staff, nothing is too much trouble for them and they always make you feel that your child is very important to them. The staff know my child inside out.

I always feel confident that when I leave my children at nursery they are in wonderfully capable hands. The staff are great at telling me what my children have done that day and always update me on their progress.

We feel the quality of care at Leighs Nurseries is outstanding. We notice on a daily basis that our son's development is progressing fast, and we know a big part of this is due to his time at nursery.

I believe the quality of care is second to none. I cannot stress enough how much I love the atmosphere, the girls, the principles, everything about Gateshead Leigh’s Nursery. It’s like a home from home in terms of comfort for Hannah and, like with our son Max, I know the care and education she receives will encourage her to be the best version of herself that she can achieve. I just love Leigh’s!

We feel truly privileged that our children have had such inspirational care and support, and even luckier that our new baby Rory will have the same opportunity next year.

I cannot recommend Leigh’s Nurseries enough. The care and support they have given both my girls has been second to none! Ive always felt comfortable leaving my children in their capable hands and find it very reassuring to have such a lovely team looking after my daughters.

Henry has recieved fantastic care, nurture and education during his three years at Leigh's nursery. We couldn't possibly have asked for any better. To you and all your lovely staff, thank you.

Joe's time at nursery has been very special. He has made lots of friends, his progress has been great, his artwork is lovely, and he always loves his cuddles in the mornings!

After viewing six other nurseries, the minute we walked into Leigh's we knew that's where our daughter would go. Two years on and it was the best decision ever. She absolutely loves nursery. We couldn't have found a more perfect nursery for Matty. As a nursery teacher myself I had an idea about the type of nursery experience I wanted him to have. The staff at Leigh's so obviously care and enjoy their work that the nursery has a genuine fun family feel about it. Everyone made us feel so welcome from the very start. Matty is really confident going into nursery which is the most important thing and it's lovely to see how well the staff know and 'get' him. I love reading what he has been up to through his Learning Journal and the social media updates are great to see. Matty loves to be outdoors so having the outside space there and all the resources and planned areas is brilliant for him. Can't thanks Leigh's Nurseries enough for the fab start they have given Matty.

Our time at Leigh's in Heddon is almost coming to an end after the most wonderful two and a half years. We could not have asked for a more caring, interactive, friendly & supportive team to care for, develop and encourage Honor in every way. From the moment we walked into the nursery we got 'that feeling' it was the one and we definitely made the right decision. The homely environment and caring staff have brought Honor on in all areas of her development. She loves spending time at nursery and its sometimes a struggle to get her out the door at home time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leigh's as wonderful choice for your childcare.
