Physical Development in Snowdrops!

At Leigh’s we enable physical development from a young age starting with our Snowdrops and it is one of the three prime areas we focus on.

While our Snowdrops explore they participate in important milestones such as crawling, standing up and walking as well as building on their fine motor skills such as grasping different objects and feeding themselves.

Through physical development safe risky play can be carried out. Climbing in to the ball pit is a particular favourite! Risky play actively encourages the children to make regular informed decisions. It’s amazing to see their confidence and independence grow so much during their time here at Leighs. The children get so much out of being surrounded by their friends as they actively observe and copy one another!
