Pirate Puppet Show!

Following some in the moment planning and giving children the best opportunities to learn through their interests and play we decided to make our own puppet show!

Recently the Sunflowers have shown interest in a story we’ve been reading called ‘The Night Pirates’. Using their initiative and fine motor skills, we created our own pirates to use during the show. We confidently used our language skills to act out a narrative from our imaginations, giving the children confidence to express themselves enthusiastically.

They used the props they had created brilliantly which also actively helps to build their self esteem.
