Planting Sunflowers!

Recently the children have loved planting some lovely sunflowers given to us by one of our amazing parents.

The children were able to use their fine motor skills to transfer the flowers into bigger plant pots using the tools provided. When planting the sunflowers the children enjoyed learning all about the different parts of the flower.

They were talking about the roots and how big they will grow with so much enthusiasm. They worked amazingly together communicating throughout, sharing their ideas and thoughts.
