Playdough Pancakes!

The Snapdragons and Sunflowers have been practicing their counting and fine motor skills by making playdough pancakes. We started off by splatting our pancakes a certain number of times for each child and this encouraged the children to count to different numbers up to 10.

The children then explored their imagination to decorate their pancakes in a range of different ways using natural resources. This activity prompted the children’s communication and language as they spoke about how they were decorating their pancakes. They shared what they had created and compared it with their friends.
