Recycling Fun!

The Sweetpeas have been enjoying doing a lot of activities focusing around recycling recently.

They’ve enjoyed learning about different bin signs and doing activities about different materials and which bin they go in to. We used new key words such as “bin” and “cardboard” and the children got so excited when they got to put different things in different bins. The Sweetpeas enjoyed getting messy and creative doing some planet earth painting too. We talked about the blue paint representing the sea and the green paint representing the land. We also talked about shapes and how the earth is round!

During circle time the children enjoyed reading stories about the sea. We talked about different animals that can be found in the sea and how it is important to protect them. The children pointed to different pictures and helped to turn the pages brilliantly!
