Remembering 2021!

As the end of another year approaches we thought we would look back on all of our favourite memories this year with the children.

We had a group discussion introduced by staff sharing all the things they have done this year that they’re proud of. This sparked lovely conversation amongst the children as they took turns to share their own magical memories.

They talked about days out, holidays, their family, friends and pets. They remembered special family celebrations such as birthdays, weddings and new babies which was absolutely lovely to listen too.

We then drew pictures and wrote down the precious memories to put in our special box which we will leave out for the children to look back on whenever they like.

Sharing memories is such a great way to help build children’s language, communication and thinking skills! As well as helping them to learn about each others families, communities & traditions.
