Risky Play!

The children have been challenging themselves with risky play. The outdoor area’s at Leigh’s are a perfect environment for your children to explore and engage in risky play. Walking along the toddle blocks and jumping off the end allows them to risk assess independently and explore their own limits.

Risky play benefits the children by increasing their motor skills and improving physical development. The children demonstrate this by pushing their peers on the tree swing and climbing the hill, which also promotes friendships, problem solving and communication skills.
