Self Portraits!

The children enjoyed our self portrait activity recently! They looked in the mirror and spoke about the different characteristics that they had. We then discussed what makes us unique and how we are all individual people and that is what makes us special.

It is important to teach children that we all have similarities and differences but inside we are all equal! They described themselves beautifully and identified different shapes and colours. It was amazing to see them independently paint themselves based on what they could see in the mirror!
