Settling in and Transitions!

Choosing which nursery to place your child into is such a daunting but exciting experience. We at Leigh’s Nurseries always try to go above and beyond to help settling not only the child attending our setting but the parents also.

Parent partnership is something we pride ourselves on. We always keep in contact with parents to answer any questions and put your minds at ease up until and after your child’s start date. This is why we offer a free 2 hour settling in session. This session allows the child to independently explore their surroundings and meet their new key workers. Settling into nursery’s also carries on as the children grow with us.

At Leigh’s we have 4 groups consisting of Snowdrops (0-1), Sweetpeas (1-2), Snapdragons (2-3), Sunflowers (3-5). As the children grow within the nursery they move from one room to the next and we support the children through this by ensuring great communication with staff and parents to ensure a smooth transition.
