Similarities and Differences!

There are a lot of important conversations taking place in the world right now and here at Leighs we make it our mission every single day to translate appropriate topics into the children’s learning and development. We think it’s so important that they’re given the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings whenever they’re in our care. This week we’ve been speaking about our similarities and differences, talking about how we’re all special and unique in our own way which is something to be celebrated! It really was incredible to hear the children talk about themselves and their peers in such a positive light!

This led us into an amazing activity where we enjoyed colouring in a paper person each as well as the world, before sticking them down holding hands – showing how we all love each other and must stick together always! The end result is absolutely beautiful!
