Small World With Snowdrops!

Our lovely Snowdrops have really enjoyed exploring their environment, showing a keen interest in the small world area. We have had so much fun playing with and exploring the animals, while listening to the different sounds they make. Some of the older children have even tried to echo back the different animal sounds in a turn taking conversation with staff.

We have looked at different sensory animal picture books alongside the animals using them as props as we tell the story. This has given the children the opportunity to develop their language which is so important! We are always actively encouraging each child to talk and express themselves here at Leighs!
