Sunshine Mark Making!

The Snowdrops have enjoyed doing some mark making in the garden! They were very excited to see our mark making chalk board in the garden crawling over to explore.

The babies independently chose which colour chalk the would like. They used their fine motor skills to hold the chalk with their whole hands as they made different marks on the board.  Some of the Snowdrops pointed out the marks they made and engaged staff using their voices, expressing how proud of the lovely pictures they were.

The babies then furthered their development and took part in some risky play with the support of staff. They climbed onto the board exploring and making marks from a different, higher angle before climbing down again.
