The Number Rainbow!

The children have been having so much fun playing with the number rainbow! This helps with their development skills in so many ways as they are using their mathematic skills, hand eye co-ordination skills, literacy skills and team work skills!

Firstly their teacher explained what they had to do and they all listened very carefully. They all worked very well together as a team when answering what colours they could see and what numbers were on each colour. The children then began to take turns slotting the right amount of objects into the correct colours and talking about what different shapes they could see!

They used their mathematical skills by helping each other to put the correct amount of objects into the rainbow. They showed great team work skills as they all helped one another on each others turn! Once the rainbow was full the children worked as a team to count how many objects they had used altogether!
