Time Capsule!

As we all know COVID-19 has created a lot of changes for everyone. Our goal here at Leigh’s is to ensure our children continue having fun as well as being safe throughout this challenging time. Our fabulous Sunflowers have created their very own Covid 19 time capsule, putting a positive spin on everything that’s been going on in the world.

They’re super excited for the future Leigh’s Nurseries children to find our special time capsule and learn all about our experiences. Throughout this activity the Sunflowers have gained many skills whether they’re physical, social or emotional. We make a conscious effort to talk about how we’re all feeling and what we need to do throughout this time. We have been practicing our hand washing in a fun musical way using the ABC song as this lasts exactly 20seconds! Each child has placed something special in the time capsule and understands no matter what is going on in the world we can always learn, stay safe and have fun!
