We’re Going On A Bear Hunt!

Stories encourage children to use their imagination and this in turn helps them develop in many areas of the EYFS.

The Sweetpeas have enjoyed going on their very own bear hunt! We read the story together as we went on our exciting search for the bear! The Sweetpeas enjoyed exploring all of the different textures of each section of the book.

The story encouraged the Sweetpeas to make noises and repeat single words from the story. They used their fine motor skills brilliantly to pick up the items and move them around the tray. This activity was great for the Sweetpeas to recognise colours accurately.
