Winter Olympics!

This week the Snowdrops and Sweetpeas have enjoyed carrying out Winter Olympics activities. We started off with a throwing activity which developed the childrens hand eye coordination. They enjoyed throwing the snowballs through the Olympic hoops and learning about the colours they could see.

This was one of the children’s favorite activities as they kept asking to come back to it! We then moved on to being creative and the children used different tools to decorate their bobsleigh. This encouraged imagination which is great for the children’s cognitive development. They couldn’t wait to try out the bobsleigh on the slopes and worked together to help their team mates reach the finish line.
